What you will learn:
- Part One
Learn how to really get to know your dog better through understanding their body language and ensuring you are meeting their needs. This is going to be so helpful when you bring your new baby home.
You’ll also begin thinking about the changes you may need to make in the lead-up to your new baby arriving, while working through any existing behavioural concerns with your dog — including barking, pulling on the lead, jumping, or stealing — especially those that could become more challenging once the baby is here. - Part Two
This section looks at how the inevitable big changes may impact your dog when your baby arrives and how you can plan and prepare your dog for these in a calm, supportive way. It includes flexible routines, feeding and sleep planning, adjusting to new sounds, role playing, managing separation, and setting up safe zones in your home.
You’ll build up your dogs basic skills such as recall, staying on their bed, give and leave it, so you can use them proactively when your baby is here. - Part Three
Discover a comprehensive guide to plan and prepare for the actual homecoming – those first few days, weeks, months at home with your new family. Alongside the practical steps including prepping enrichment toys, organising care whilst you are in hospital and physically preparing your home, we cover how to handle the introduction, the basics of supervision, preparing for known scenarios and bond-building exercises.

What my clients are saying
SILVIA – Rocky the cavoodle
We completed the baby and dog preparation online program while I was pregnant with my daughter, and it truly helped us create the right environment for both our dog and our baby. The program also supported Rocky with some separation-related challenges at home, which made a big difference to everyone’s wellbeing.
Our daughter is now 9 months old and they are both doing so beautifully. We feel calmer, more confident, and so grateful we had this guidance before she arrived. We can’t recommend this enough!

JUSTIN- Bambi the Bernese Mountain Dog
We just wanted to share some feedback on the program — it was fantastic. It gave us practical tips and real confidence when bringing our baby home and reintroducing Bambi to the new family dynamic.
It’s only been 36 hours, but things have gone so well already. We feel incredibly relieved with how calmly Bambi has settled back in, thanks to the techniques and guidance we learned through the program.
We know there may be challenges along the way, but we feel well equipped to support both our baby and Bambi with supervision, thoughtful attention, and the right strategies in place.

ALEX – Milo the Labrador
We worked through the Getting Your Family Ready for Life with Dog and Baby program before our son arrived, and it gave us so much peace of mind. Instead of feeling anxious about how Milo might cope, we felt calm, prepared, and clear on exactly what to do.
The guidance around routines, supervision, and helping Milo adjust to all the new sounds and changes made a huge difference. Bringing our baby home felt so positive for everyone, and Milo has settled beautifully into his new role.
We’re incredibly grateful for this program — it truly helped set our whole family up for a safe, happy start together.
