Happy Holidays! Quality family time here we come…

Hi Guys,

Happy holidays to all my amazing followers. What an incredible past two months it’s been since the launch of Cooper and Kids. I hope you are all loving my posts, learning lots along the way and enjoying following my journey. Motherhood is by far the best thing I have ever done, but it is also by far the hardest!! I love my kids to pieces, but there is no way I could have gotten through it all so far without my amazing hubby, Jase. Of course having my gorgeous dog, Cooper by my side, has helped me through so much of it too. As crazy as life can be at times, I wouldn’t change any of it for the world.

I love this time of the year more than anything. Firstly, the Australian summer is is my favourite season! I love being outdoors and playing in the sunshine! Secondly, Jase and our friends and family are all off work and there is nothing better than  hanging out and having good old fashioned family and friend time! Plus it is such a festive time of year so I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah and a Happy and Healthy New Year!!

Here are some of my simple tips for getting the most out of this time of year

  • Put your phone away for a couple of hours each day.
  • Enjoy the moment.
  • Be present – don’t always make it about chasing a good photo or insta-story.
  • Take some time for yourself.
  • Get a babysitter and go on a date night!
  • While your partner is off work, use it to your advantage and try and have some one-on-one time with each of your kids and with your dog, if you have one.
  • Get outdoors and exercise.
  • Eat fresh and healthy foods but also indulge a little and don’t feel guilty about it.

I look forward to sharing a fun filled 2018 with you all. I have lots of fantastic new ideas and some great posts planned. If you have any requests for posts, please comment below or send me an email, I’d love to help you out in any way I can. That’s all for now. Put your phone, IPad or your computer away, and go enjoy the outdoors with your family and friends.

I’m off to the beach to build sandcastles with my crew.

Lots of love!
